Our Story

Sorre was born from a simple belief: beautiful hair starts in the skin that produces it, the scalp.

For too long, hair care has focused on what is visible: the fiber, the texture, the shine, the immediate appearance.

However, hair originates in the skin of the scalp, in the follicles. This is where its strength, density, and longevity are determined.

We created Sorre to bring this fundamental truth back to the center of hair care.

The scalp, an overlooked skin

Sorre was born from a simple belief: the beauty of hair begins in the skin that produces it, the scalp. For too long, hair care has focused on what is seen: the fiber, the texture, the shine, the immediate appearance. Yet, hair is born in the skin of the scalp, in the follicles. This is where its strength, density, and longevity are determined.

Like facial skin, the scalp becomes unbalanced, dehydrated, and sensitized by stress, hormonal fluctuations, pollution, UV rays, hard water, and unsuitable routines. But unlike facial skin, it sorely lacks care.

Skin and hair are one. Our care products are too.

Sorre was born from this desire to reconcile skin, scalp, and hair in a single, more effective, and preventive approach to care. We have developed formulas designed like skincare: more affinity-based, more targeted, and more respectful, capable of supporting the scalp's essential functions to preserve the beauty and density of hair over time.

The Birth of Sorre

Sorre means "sister" in Provençal. This name evokes ideas of connection, transmission, closeness, and roots. It suggests a more intuitive, vibrant, and essential beauty. After more than 10 years in the hair care industry, Marie-Laure and Cécile wanted to rethink hair care, starting from an often-ignored truth: the scalp is a continuation of facial skin and the anchor point for more lasting beauty.

Our vision of care

At Sorre, we don't talk about skincare or haircare, but Headcare, because nothing is isolated, everything is naturally connected: the same skin, the same care. Taking care of the scalp as a natural extension of the facial skin means creating the conditions for stronger, more resilient, and denser hair over time.
